Dear MAA Colleagues,
In the continuing effort to better serve members, we are requesting your participation in a brief survey. This project was developed under the auspices of the Audiology Quality Consortium, a coalition of 10 audiology organizations formed to collaborate on the development of the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS). The PQRS is a voluntary program through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) designed to improve the quality of care to Medicare beneficiaries through tracking of practice patterns. Medicare enrolled health care professionals who participate in PQRS by reporting on approved quality measures are eligible for a 1.5% incentive payment at year end.
We welcome your participation in this survey regardless of whether you currently participate in the PQRS. Your opinions and feedback on this topic are very important to us and we hope that you give this invitation thoughtful consideration.
The survey will take 5-10 minutes to complete. Your individual responses will be kept confidential; only group data will be reported. Please submit your completed survey by December 15, 2011.
If you have any questions about the survey, please contact Sarah Slater, Director of Surveys and Information, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Thank you!
p.s. Please note that, because this is a joint effort being conducted on behalf of 10 audiology organizations, you may receive more than one invitation to participate in this survey. Please only respond once to the survey. Thank you for your cooperation.
