It seems every organization needs a visual image to provide a quick representation, the logo. We've found that in announcing the formation of the Academy of Federal Audiology Speech-Language Pathology (AFASLP) we've been asked if we have such a thing. In addition we would like to have an official icon that may be incorporated on correspondence and all those other places that logos go.
The challenge put forth is to have your creativity become immortal by coming up with an idea for an AFASLP logo. All submissions may be forwarded for consideration by the executive board to Tom Hutchison, Sec./Treas. If you cannot email your creation, please send to Tom's attention at:

You may have an interesting or eye catching method of displaying our initials or an image in mind that captures the spirit of AFASLP.
To identify areas of mutual interest, coordinate discussion of the issues, and to promote the collective consensus of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists associated with the Federal Government. …is the coordinating body for issues related to Audiology and Speech–Language Pathology… and as a forum for development of action plans on those issues.
